FIRE TENDER OPERATOR CUM DRIVER  

He must be able to drive all types of fire fighting trucks including snorkel or aerial apparatus off road and on road, control and operate, elevating devices, fire pumps, portable fire pumps and other rescue equipment. He must apply safe methods in executing his job. He must carry out routine and daily operators? checks and maintain the apparatus and equipments in good working condition in line with fire brigade standard operating procedures. Must be able to able to read and write reports. Excellent written/spoken English and computer skills to use MS Office software and ability to work in a team. Must carryout any other instructions given by Superiors. Must be willing to work in shifts. He is also responsible to carryout any other work and instructions from his superiors. Must possess valid Heavy vehicle driving licence.Minimum 5 years experience as Fire apparatus operator in a Government Fire Brigades / fire force. ...
