Planning Engineer  

The Job responsibilities for the planner include but not limited to t: Review / approve contractor’s work programs submissions. Advise and assist the contractor in the development of the work programs. Record and report the actual progress of the work versus the planned work. Ability to generate critical milestones for the construction stage for inclusion in tender documents through detailed discussions with the Design Manager, evaluation of interfaces between buildings/infrastructure. Prepare technical tender evaluations. Prepare monthly progress reports. Evaluate designers’ and contractors’ detailed schedules and prepare the evaluation report. Produce cash flows in Primavera and work with Project Cost Managers. Evaluate claims and make appropriate recommendations. Estimate change of orders including breakdown (labor, equipment & material). Establish and monitor construction work schedules. Monitoring actual rates and compare with budget.
