QC Engineer  

Responsible for the implementation of the Construction Quality program at site and reports administratively to the Senior Construction Site Representative (SCSR). Retains a functional reporting link to the Company, QA Manager to resolve any issues that cannot be resolved directly with the SCSR. Key activities include: •Implementation of a Quality Plan for the site activities and project specific procedures as required. •Interface with the client's quality personnel. •Organizing the Site QC/Inspection team. •Evaluation of Contractor's Quality Systems. •Implement a surveillance/audit procedure to monitor construction and quality control •Ensure that each construction sub-contractor implements suitable quality systems and that Inspection and Test Plans are implemented •Manage the Inspection notification scheme to ensure that necessary parties are in attendance at key inspection stages •Maintain control over the response and resolution of any Non conformance Reports •Review of Construction QC records prepared by Contractors •Assist in the preparation of the weekly and monthly reports ...
