R&D Engineer for Multi Effect Distillation (MED)  

1)At least five years of experience in MED process development 2) Strong technical knowledge and working knowledge in research and development in Desalination process 3) Deep understanding in thermo dynamics of MED seawater desalination Plant configuration (including aspects of combination with power plant) and system design of MED desalination plant, Practical knowledge in designing of various parts of MED evaporator, such as; - Horizontal falling film evaporation - Brine and distillate transfer devices - Mist eliminators - Tube materials and shape of tube bundle - Removing non-condensable gases and vent systems - Mechanisms of scale formation and control 4) Experience in temperature profiles design 5) Technical knowledge in feed water distribution (spray nozzle) 5Selection of materials and corrosion control 6) Basic and practical knowledge on auxiliary systems of MED Computer programming (preferred language: visual basic) Industry: Engineering Job Location: United Arab Emirates Skills: -Willing to work in a team environment with ...
