Senior Civil/Structural Engineer  

Job Purpose: To review, comment on and ensure compliance with requirements and standards of the civil and structural design work being performed by others under contract. This position ensures that design under contract conforms to CH2M Hill procedures and specified standards. Key Duties: •Communicates with design consultants’ and contractors’ representatives and conveys CH2M design requirements in terms of procedures and standards. •Reviews designs being performed by others under contract and provides technical comments. •Reviews technical submittals such as; Specifications, Bills of Quantities, Shop-drawings, quality Plans and Schedules. •Contributes to Value Engineering sessions undertaken by Consultants and Contractors to optimise design, schedule and cost. •Liaises and coordinates with other relevant departments within the MASDAR structure.
