Our Client, Oxford University Press English Language Teaching Division is a department of Oxford University and is a world leader in ELT publishing. Oxford University Press is looking for a part-time, Freelance Research Editor for a short term contract. The post holder must be based in Dubai. You will facilitate and institute research initiated by Oxford editorial; arrange, and if appropriate, accompany on research visits. You will network in order to identify and recommend consultants, local writers, designers and translators. You will provide administration on all research related activities (e.g. making initial contacts and drawing up itineraries for research visits; duplicating and distributing questionnaires, etc.).You will also undertake specific desk-based research in order to gather market intelligence, both as briefed by Oxford editorial and independently.
