Analyst Programmer  

Responsible for full lifecycle of enterprise software application systems in the university. This lifecycle is based on an iterative development process which proceeds in the following order: system analysis to define functional and interface design specifications; coding with full system documentation; systems integration, load and user acceptance testing; end user documentation and customer training; deployment to production; ongoing technical support via the UITS Help Desk. • Through the UITS Help Desk, provides Technical Support for entire systems development lifecycle. • Based upon change requests which come through the UITS Help Desk, tracks customer enhancement request for prioritization and potential inclusion in future dot releases of production code. • In support of the change management process in UITS, documents all code, to include providing documentation on any modifications made to code in the development environment. • Supports the selection, installation and maintenance of any vendor supplied software solutions. • Adheres to best ...
