Capacity Control Assistant  

Job Purpose: To control the containers fleet - owned and leased - worldwide & prepare and control operational write-off of the containers under LOST/SOLD status in order to meet and support the business objectives of the Department (revenue moves) in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Key Accountabilities: Control and load empties from MER hub ports on UASC vessels (MIX service) Prepare and process the containers under LOST & SOLD status for write-off authorization Control the leased containers, under ONE -way deals Prepare weekly management reports, such as global inventory report Contribute to the development of containers inventory control and usage forecasting systems and liaise with IT and procurement to ensure they can be implemented Analyze the operations of shippers ( e.g. WHITE LINE), ensuring they are in line with UASC policies and procedures.
