Claims Assessors  

To assess and process claims accurately and consistently. 1. Deliver timely and accurate claims administration services: claims adjudication, data entry, production of claims correspondence such as claims settlements, declinations, information requests, etc. 2. Communicate with doctors and health care providers for medical reports, clarification and additional information to support the claims processes. Investigate claims for possible abuse and fraud. 3. Assess claims, requests for re-assessments and complex claims within guidelines and delegated authority limits, including the application of reasonable and customary criteria, seeking guidance and/or escalating cases as necessary. 5. Maintain records of large losses, ex gratia payments, major denials and support other routine and ad hoc reporting requirements. 6. Develop and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships with Clients, Brokers, Third Parties and other Goodhealth departments and offices. 7. Adhere to Best Practice Processes, Service Standards and to all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly and other TCF initiatives. ...
