Planning Engineer (EMPD)  

Plans and controls the provision of efficient and effective cost and planning reporting system for the preparation and execution of Engineering Projects. Includes leading the design and establishment of all cost and planning procedures and providing timely management information on projects progress. Reviews project plans and advises on the preparation and formulation of project identification, definition and execution plans including costing, procurement strategy and expenditure phasing. Plans and sets strategies for all projects’ materials procurement activities. Advises on the tendering, evaluation procurement and expediting of materials for all engineering projects, to ensure timely delivery and to meet overall project implementation schedules. May administers all procurement, warehousing and issue activities related “Tie in” materials. Includes establishing tie in schedule based on approved drilling sequence and material availability and liaising with Pipeline Maintenance Department for execution of all tie in works.
